Clay Leaves and Frame

One of my ladies at the Gadsden Hobby Lobby used her clay leaves we did in class on this basket and she went home and made more and put them on her frame we painted in class.

She also did the oil painting of the flowers in the frame she really did a good job on all of this.

We had a Saturday Fruit Class everyone did a great job and we all had a lot of fun!!!!

We painted these cute watermelon slices on a clay pot with a lid to match, you could put a pot liner in it and use it for almost anything!!!

Vintage Suitcase

I buy vintage suitcase's at Thrift Stores and my aunt usually finds me lots of good ones
at yards sales (too early for me).

The Cat I painted is out of a book with dogs and cats in it and I added One Stroke leaves and flowers. Then I decided it need something big on the back, so I put a really big daisy. Then I added a few more vines and leaves by the handle.

You can do a lot of things with reclaimed furniture, suitcases and glassware.

Clay Class 7/14/09

I had one more student (my sister) she left early and I forgot to take her pic.

These ladies did a great job on their Strawberries, leaves and flowers.

We had a good time doing this project.

Wilton Cake Decorating Class

Me and my sister Sharon started taking Course 1 Cake Decorating (so I can paint on cakes and cookies) and today was our second class and we had to try to do stars and decorate a flower on our cake. Well I kept doing my flower wrong so I kept eating my mistakes. By the time we finished our cakes I was about sick.

They turned out pretty good for beginners. I would have put a picture of my cake on my blog but I forgot and well we did eat some cake with our icing......and well you know the rest....
